About Attorney Virginia W. Greenway

Virginia W. Greenway knew she wanted to be a lawyer at the age of 11.  Her mother inspired this by commenting that if she liked to argue so much—and was so convincing—she should find a way to get paid for that.  She has been called a “bulldog” by many a client who marvel at what she can accomplish on their behalf.  She likes to win and takes personal pride in every good outcome.  Even though you might meet her on what is a dark day in your life, rest assured she is a one-woman cavalry when it comes to defending you.

“We, as criminal defense lawyers, are forced to deal with some of the lowest people on earth, people who have no sense of right and wrong, people who will lie in court to get what they want, people who do not care who gets hurt in the process. It is our job - our sworn duty - as criminal defense lawyers - to protect our clients from those people.”

Expressions of Gratitude

"It’s been close to a year since we last spoke and I just wanted to touch base with you.  My mom * * * is doing great and going on 15 months of sobriety!  She has never felt better and looks better everyday.  Life is good!  My mom has changed her life around completely.  Besides her daily meetings, she is also mentoring young girls and women at risk for addiction.  I am so proud of her, we all are.  I wanted to thank you again for your time and effort in my mom’s case.  It must be very rewarding for you to see clients turn their lives around.  I wish Judge Crain could see her now!"

DarciRae O. on behalf of her mother

Thanks to your hard work and dedication, I have been given the chance to make something of myself and start a positive life for myself as well.  I feel privileged to have not only a lawyer who does good at her job but one who was able to give me a valuable piece of wisdom.  I will not forget when you told me that it doesn’t matter which college I go to, I won’t be able to get a good job with a felony conviction. * * * I don’t plan on getting myself into any more trouble.

I’m jus’ writing you this quick note to tell you and your colleague that I am blessed to have you as my attorneys.  You all did a wonderful job.  I must admit I had a wonderful time and a few good laughs during the trial.  You all ate the prosecution’s witnesses for lunch and dessert.  Even though it was a misdemeanor trial, I have never seen anyone work for anyone like you all did.  Thanks a bunch! A whole bunch.  I am very pleased.
